VISIT OUR FARM
Mount Pleasant Rd
Lincoln, CA 95648
Limited Visits
by Appointment Only
We require a certain etiquette when you visit. Here are some of the rules of visiting De Novo Coop and Creamery.

1) Be Prompt: Please respect my schedule and do not arrive late. For that matter, please don't arrive very early. Then you risk catching me still in my nightgown and no one wants that. If you have a change in your plans, please text to notify us as soon as possible. If you are significantly late you may have to re-schedule. We limit our visits to 1-2 hours, depending on how booked we are.

2) Be Courteous: Please obey our rules. NO pets or outside livestock or poultry are allowed on the ranch, including in your car. My guardian dogs are trained to repel foreign animals, and that includes through your car's windows or paint job. Outside animals also pose a risk of introducing disease.

3) Be Responsible: Please monitor your seniors and youngsters. All are welcome, but this is a working farm, not an amusement park. Running and screaming and chasing animals is never OK. Please rein in granny and the grandkids. This is my home, you are here as guests.

4) Be Aware: If you go through a gate, close it behind you and make sure it latches. Don't let animals slip through gates as you pass through.

5) Be Prepared: This is a farm. There is dust and mud and flies and saliva and poop - lots of poop. Dress accordingly. The Devil Wears Prada was not filmed here.

6) Be Informed: Use Common Sense People. Know your directions, know your route, know how long it takes to get here. Know if you need to bring a box, carrier or kennel if you are purchasing an animal. Visit the bathroom before you arrive. Plan your day: This visit should take priority. I DO NOT CARRY MY CELL PHONE - that 1000 dollar mini computer will end up in a water trough, I just know it. I do check my phone periodically. I do not have Facebook on my phone - text me. If you have questions please address them before your visit.

7) HAVE FUN: Take your time. Visit a nearby brewery, winery or fruit stand - we are so close to the Placer County Wine Trail. Check out the antiques, art, restaurants and jewelry in Old Town Auburn, the fruit sheds in Loomis, the quaint downtowns of Lincoln or Newcastle. Arrive here ready to cuddle animals and learn. Bring a big -I mean BIG - box of animal crackers, pretty much every animal here adores them.
